** Yes, I'm aware the "Futbol Tlak" thread already exists, but with World Cup starting on Friday, I think this may be a better container for JUST World Cup discussion. **
The 2010 FIFA World Cup kicks-off at 10:00 AM Friday Morning (June 11) with ESPN and ABC holding exclusive rights. This World Cup is being hosted in South Africa and marks the first time that the Continent of Africa will host a World Cup.
In this thread, along with futbol discussion, we'll examine a few things:
1) South Africa's fitness as a nation, security-wise to handle a massive scale event such as the World Cup
2) Vuvuzelas. They're loud, and could potentially be used as a weapon and/or billboard.
3) The "Group of Death" and the Group that usually murders the "Group of Death"
