I mean, could it get worse? I suppose with Boone leaving, I shouldn't ask that question. Here's to hoping the new long-snapper proves adaquate, too. Pitz has been basically perfect the last couple years. Word is that Fera could seriously push for the starting job next year. Something about his approach to the ball. They believed he was ready the last few weeks of the season, but felt it would be a waste of a year to put him in there. Wagner, while solid under 40, is just not any better than average, maybe. And, to his credit, he didn't LOSE us any games this year, I guess.
The return game may not change much. Many of the same returners...return. I'm not sure how or if Joe will change the cast in that respect. Hopefully return coverage continues to improve, as it did throughout the year sans OSU.
