Blackberry Pearl problem
Ok, so I'm a dumbass and managed to spill water on my blackberry last night. Immediately pulled the battery and let it dry out the whole night.
It's in working order except for ONE issue. The roller ball works going up/down/left/right but when you push it down to "Select" it doesn't register.
The problem here is that you need to be able to "Select" to open ANY application, any email or message, and basically do anything BUT make a phone call.
My dilemma is that I hate the Pearl so I don't even want to bother with a replacement or an insurance phone b/c I am up for a "New Every 2" at Verizon November 3rd.
My question is: Is there a blackberry shortcut or workaround of some sort to assign another button as the "select" option. And even if there is, is it even possible to activate that function without the use of the current "Select" button????
