2009-2010 Pittsburgh Penguins Thread
This thread is basically for the 2 or 3 of us that watch the Pens on a regular basis, but it's only a week and a half until the season starts so it's about that time to tlak hockey a little right?
Think the pens can defend their cup? i don't see a significant hangover from them like last year. Hopefully they are sharp out of the gate - no major injuries in the preseason to speak of aside from Talbot still out for the first 2 months of the season.
First line stays intact: Kunitz - Crosby - Guerin
Second line has a wing up for grabs: Fedotenko - Malkin - ???? (Kennedy or a young guy like Caputi/Tangradi)
Third Line will most likely be Cooke - Staal - Dupuis (if Kennedy moves up)
Defense is pretty set too - Gonchar/Orpik/Eaton/Letang/Goligoski/McKee with a 7th defender chosen from Lovejoy/Guenin
