Game 2 - My take (i'm bored)

QB - Better game for Clark. Couple bad decisions but was very patient and did a very good job of moving the change in multiple 3rd and longs. Seems to really be getting it together now with the receivers. Lots of weapons for him to us.
RB - We've criticized the o-line run blocking, but it looks to me like Royster and Green are slow hitting the holes, when they are there. Not sure if they are comfortable with the line or what. Royster making a few catches was nice.
FB - Suhey is a playa. Couple times he had 2-3 blocks on one play. Very good, quiet weapon to have in him.
WR - These guys are getting it done. Zug is a carbon copy of Norwood. We seemed to get conservative with Powell most of the game. Not sure if he got hurt or we scaled back. But he is definitely smoother than Dwill running the ball.
Oline - I think they did better. Stanky is not ready...he's the weakest link thus far. There were some holes but their safeties did a good job stepping up to close the holes quickly. Oline seems to come off their blocks a slit second too soon.
Dline - quiet game. Not much pressure on the qb which I think was result of us not bringing any LB's up either. Seemed like we were playing USC passing offense and wanted to drop 7 every play. Still made some key plays here and there.
LBs - Stupar was average....step back from last week...but he's fine. Learning process. Hull had a decent game. Still some bone head plays here or there. Love his stats though at one point... like 10 tackles, 3 solo. (pile jumper cough cough) Lee just stepped it up in the 2nd half. Nice to see he can take over a game when he has to.
Secondary - Not a fan of Timmons. It seems whenever they do get passing yards, it's on his side. (minus the one AJ slipped on) Still seem to be doing a decent job overall. Hard to tell if teams aren't testing us beacuse they don't want to...or beacuse we are doing a good job taking it away. Astorino had a good game stepping up to make plays.
Special teams - Smith must be annoyed he only gets 1-2 chances to kick return. WTF was Royster doing on the punt in the 5? Need to get better kickoff coverage. Can't give better teams short field. Good couple kickoffs towards the end when Wagner put it in the corner.
Overall - Sloppy still. It looked like we went conservative on offense after the 1st quarter. Still passed a ton, but seemed like we stopped bringing Smith in for some plays, stopped the flares to Powell, etc.. Run game obviously still lacking. This passing attack should get really impressive if we can ever get the run game going.
