2009 Week 2 - Syracuse Orange
I think we did this last year and yours truly was too wrapped up in the planning of drinking/gambling/strippers in Canada last week to fire up an actual Akron thread, but better late than never, right?
OK, so week 2 we've got the Orange. Thoughts? concerns if any?
Paulus showed that he can definitely play after a long layoff from football. Yeah, he threw a pick in OT to secure the loss but did you really even think the Cuse would be that competitive against an "improved" Minny-haha?
Nope, I didn't either. Is Minnesota that bad or is Syracuse a little better? At the very least, having to cover Syracuse's Mike Williams will give our CB's a little bit of help preparing for the likes of Decker and Rejus Benn, eh?
Royster's still going to field punts and Bowman is definitely out for this weeks game.
