One New Scholarship?
So from what every other site seems to say on their free section , or the other sites that provide great rumors, it seems that Spencer Ridenour will be requesting he be relased from the team so he can go to a different school.
I'm assuming that this is due to him being in the Dog House for a bit; never really seeing the field, and being snubbed from a starting position twice. Last year he missed out to Scirrotto and this year he lost out again for a starting role on the defense. While most assume he would have seen the field on the Nickle Packages , that wasn't a guarantee either.
I feel bad for this kid; he was on special teams and was trying to make his way on the field. But it never happened. Not the right size for LB or Safety; but he had the desire to play the game. Actually , this happens a lot in PSU where people just don't make the field and you feel bad for them. My heart goes out to Rubin whom I thought has had a bad case of injuries and has never really panned out.
So now here is the question:
Now that we will have one more scholarship...do we try to go after one more RB since the cubards are empty?
