Any of you nerds proficient in Flash?
I developed a very simple picture gallery for a client in Flash MX2004 (old as shit, i know. i don't use flash much anymore .sadface.) utilizing nothing more than buttons with basic gotoandstop() actionscripting pointing each service to some pictures on corresponding frames and am having an issue. Anybody able to help?
Here's the skinny: The client is a Construction company based out of Baltimore. The gallery consists of 3 pages of services that I scripted to follow to frames. The project is 65 frames long and I have an actions layer above everything with a stop on every frame (mundane, i know). One of the categories is acting like cybil here. I click on it and it causes the entire gallery to skip about as if it's not recognizing the script or the stops. I have been developing in Flash for 7 years professionally now, and have NEVER had this issue...
the weirdest part is: it's only happening on a few computers. all of the computers in my office work it perfectly. my pc at home shows the errors, my friend checked on his computer and the error showed. i have no fucking clue what is going on.
Any of you nerds (aloy, buk, philly?) proficient in flash enough to help a brother out? I can link you to the website with the gallery in question if you need to see it yourself. Halp.
