Daryll Clark

I think, at this point, the kid deserves his own thread. I thought about putting "Daryll Clark for Heisman" as the thread topic but I think that's a little cart before the horse. If he comes up with huge games this weekend and next, then let's talk.
His comments are just so humble, poised, determined, yet confident.
From Patriot News:
Clark beat out Devlin for the job, and now, seven games in, the first-year starting quarterback is generating some Heisman Trophy buzz as No. 3 Penn State (7-0, 3-0) prepares to face 2-4 Michigan Saturday afternoon in a Big Ten contest at Beaver Stadium.
Despite seeing little playing time behind Anthony Morelli in 2006 and 2007, Clark has been a sensation from PSU's opening snap.
The 6-2, 235-pound dual threat has completed 64.4 percent of his passes, run for six touchdowns and thrown 10 TD passes.
"You know, I really didn't hear about it until last week," said Clark, a redshirt junior, of the Heisman consideration. "It's really flattering, man. ... [But] that is the last thing I'm thinking about right now."
And also:
Clark sounded like he was still smarting from the hit he took from Badgers linebacker Jonathan Casillas while delivering an option pitch to tailback Evan Royster that resulted in a 2-yard touchdown run.
"I took some real good shots," said Clark, who came out of the game with a "nice" bruise on one of his elbows.
"It shocked me. I couldn't believe how hard that hit was. He jacked me really good. ... [But] I got up, shook it off and continued to play."
