"Big Ten Tonight" Practice show

BTN covered PSU on their Big Ten Tonight show last night. Anyone else catch it? It was 90 minutes long and literally discussed every aspect of the team.

My thoughts:

They interviewed JoePa - he still is a funny, witty guy but also dodged every single question. The outside the lines thing REALLY must have affected him as he finished with "you guys have a great product, don't ruin it by throwing people under the bus about little stuff, just let some things go" or something to that nature. He refused to disclose who the QB would be, said he had "no idea" what the offense would look like, and even through in a "the whole bit." They asked him his favorite part of coaching and, to be honest, i got goosebumps when he just said "you know, those big time players, those aren't the ones i like to coach, it's the guys BEHIND them that I wanted to make feel they are BETTER than our stars...I just like to get out there and push them!" Ah, papa joe.

JayPa - they showed him running a film session with the receivers - why is he with them??? He sounded like such a moron, can't stand it.

Interviewed Galen Hall - he actually seemed much more cognizant than I thought he would be - didn't reveal a lot either though. Interviewed Bradley - you can't NOT love that guy and his J-town energy!

The announcers knew a LOT of details about the players but were also off base a few times. They were all VERY impressed by Clark and Devlin and felt they'd both see some PT.

What else - Sean Lee was interviewed and is SO well spoken. He had great things to say about Bowman, Gbadyu, and Hull. Kenny Jackson is joining the BTN as an analyst. Good for him.

After watching this, they felt that there's NO reason why PSU shouldn't be contending for the Big Ten Championship. Did you know that the PSU receivers are the only corps to have 3 players with 40+ receptions each in the previous 2 years?
