I have a digital camera question (an Aloysious specialty?)

I'm in the market for a new digital point and shoot camera. I've owned Nikon CoolPix cameras in the past, and have been very happy with the optics but not necessarily some of the functionalities of the camera. My biggest complaint, blurry pictures, whether it be by my own movement or the movement of someone in the picture.

How do I reduce the blurry pictures and can you recommend a camera or two for under $350? I also need it to be compatible with my MAC.

I'm currently evaluating the Nikon Coolpix S550.
