Grinders & Legacies Vs Thugs - The new Blue White Game
So, does anyone think PSU can even find enough players for the Blue/White game? With players getting arrested faster than students throwing ranch dressing on their canyon pizza it's becoming quite a concern.
The first depth chart was released today on scout ; and well a few blogs have been discussing this but I figure I might as well too.
The following players are NOT on the official roster.
- DT - Chris Baker
- WR - Chris Bell
- LB - Navorro Bowman
- TE - Andrew Quarless
- DT - Phil Taylor
- CB - Knowledge Timmons
We are all aware that Joe has played games like this before; as a way to try to scare a kid straight. You know, don't list the player, have said player play on the scout team for a while, and then try to mold them into the grinder you think they can be.
But one has to ask; does this even work anymore? Some players just seem to get in trouble no matter what, and some players seem to have no fear. And now let me throw this into the ring, Scirotto was in an apartment fight, pleaded down, and accepted responsibility and never missed a down.....But others get their lockers cleaned out and told to transfer?
Joe has let the prisoners run the show at this point. And it's just more proof that Joe needs to go; and I'm not saying in 2 or 3 years...I'm saying NOW!
Newspaper articles are popping up all over the place about Joe; and ESPN had some fun poking fun of Joe today on PTI.
But you know what, Joe has no one to blame but himself for this media circus. He went on one recruiting visit this year; and couldn't land Pryor. His last press conference was before the bowl game....he just shrugs everything off and hides in his nice Ranch house in town.
My only hope is that Joe gets forced out kicking and screaming and his legacy is ruined. You can't build a mansion,and then start ripping it down piece my piece. He helped build a great program; but Paternoites gave this man a statue and proclaimed him a deity. IT's time to put an end to this now
