First contact scrimmage results

Got this from a poster on another board I visit. I don't know if this guy was actually there, but it seems this is his personal take on the matter....

Saturday was the first contact scrimage this year for the Lions and there were some impressive performances.
Ako Poti was used mainly on third team at guard with some reps at tackle. He's strong with good surge, sets blocks well, but needs to hold longer.
Jon Ditto has a fearless attitude, he's not afraid of the LB's but needs to work at getting off the line better. Saw reps at 3rd team TE.
Nick Sukay was described as intense, batting down some balls and pulling one in. He has deceptive speed.
The D line is ahead of the O line at this point but that is normal for this time of year. They are communicating better as are their shift reads getting better.
The first-team scrimmage offensive line was RT: John Shaw, RG: Rich Ohrnberger, C: A.Q. Shipley, LG: Elijah Robinson/Lou Eliades, LT: Gerald Cadogan/Dennis Landolt. Robinson is getting aclimated to the guard position, but Eliades looks more natural and comfortable there.
Morelli showed his improvement with his progression and moved the ball around. He hit a lot of different targets, while the staff had him works some intermediate routes including slants and inside posts.
Quarless and Norwood were exceptional. Norwood catching everything thrown his way including a diving one handed circus catch. The rub is he is oblivious of his defenders and takes some mean hits.
Kinlaw struggled some in scrimage.
Scott broke some impressive runs in scrimage. Staff is trying to get him to commit to lanes more often and reduce the jukes.

The 1st team D line were DE: Josh Gaines, DT: Abe Koroma, DT: Jared Odrick/Chris Baker, DE: Maurice Evans. Koroma gave Shipley and Ohrnberger a hard time, and Odrick is quick off the blocks challenging the line well.
The LB's had to be pulled back in some. There hitting caused some concern with the coaches. Conner did well in his new position inside.
A.J. Wallace and Justin King were impressive. A.J. had two interceptions but it was said that the QB's were throwing away from King. Tony Davis is struggling at safety but it is early.
